Who we are

JourneyOS is owned and operated by Vision Labs LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States ("JourneyOS," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through journeyos.app (the "Site") and the JourneyOS mobile application (the "App," together the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the Service:

  • Information you provide. When you submit the early access form, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number. For partnership or ministry inquiries, we also collect your name, organization, partnership type, and the contents of your message.
  • Information collected automatically. When you submit a form, we record limited technical context to prevent spam and abuse: a one-way hashed version of your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the referring page, and any UTM campaign parameters present in the link you arrived from.
  • App data (when the App launches). If you use the App, content you create (such as Soul Profile responses, goals, and check-ins) is processed to provide the Service. App-specific data practices are described in the in-App privacy disclosures at the time the App becomes available.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or government identifiers through the Site. We do not knowingly buy or receive personal information about you from data brokers.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • notify you when TestFlight or launch access opens;
  • send launch-related updates and respond to your inquiry;
  • send SMS launch alerts to the phone number you provide, but only if you opted in by submitting it for that purpose (see "SMS messaging" below);
  • prevent fraud, spam, and abuse, and protect the security and integrity of the Service;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We will not sell your personal information, and we will not send you marketing unrelated to JourneyOS without your separate consent.

Legal bases for processing

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for email and SMS communications, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service (balanced against your rights); and compliance with legal obligations.

SMS messaging

If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive SMS launch alerts from JourneyOS related to the Service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, after which we will send a single confirmation. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the email below. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of using the Service, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

How we store and protect it

Lead data is stored in Supabase, a Postgres-based cloud database hosted on Amazon Web Services. Row-level security is enabled: anonymous visitors can only insert records, never read them. Your IP address is hashed using SHA-256 with a server-side salt before storage; we never store raw IP addresses. We retain lead data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and we delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed or upon a valid deletion request.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not perform cross-site tracking or fingerprinting. We use no tracking pixels and no third-party advertising networks.

Service providers

We share information only with the service providers (processors) that help us operate the Service, each bound to use it solely on our instructions:

  • Supabase — database and lead storage.
  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Plausible Analytics — aggregate, cookieless analytics.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party not listed here, except where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers process data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of sale is required.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] . We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 to 45 days). To unsubscribe from emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message we send. One tap. No dark patterns.

Children's privacy

JourneyOS is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users who have opted in by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
